Delete your account and data
Last updated: 19 September 2026
This page explains how to delete your account in
Tutik: Bedtime Sleep Companion
(com.danolab.tuti on Google Play and on the Apple App Store),
published by
Danolab s. r. o., and what happens to your data when you do.
Tutik does not require an account. If you have never signed in, no account exists and nothing has been uploaded — see I never signed in below.
1. Delete your account in the app
This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately:
- Open Tutik and go to Settings.
- Tap Account (the same option is also available under Privacy & Data).
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and the data listed in What is deleted are removed, and the app returns to its signed-out state.
2. Delete your account by email
If you can no longer sign in, write to privacy@danolab.com from the email address of the account, with the subject Delete my account. We will verify the request and delete the account within 30 days.
3. I never signed in
Then there is no account to delete. A device that has never signed in keeps everything — including your children's profiles and their whole sleep history — in on-device storage only, and uploads none of it. To remove it, clear the app's data in your device's system settings (Settings → Apps → Tutik → Storage → Clear data), or uninstall the app.
4. What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- your account itself and the email address and display name it carried;
- every child profile, with its name, age group and avatar;
- each child's bedtime routine and Kids Mode settings;
- all sleep log entries and expected sleep schedules;
- your own and AI-generated stories, together with any illustrations stored for them in our file storage;
- every recording you made in your own voice — a parent's story narration or a recorded song — including the copy held in our file storage;
- your AI and illustration usage counters and daily-story likes;
- any feedback you submitted, including an attached screenshot;
- your family membership: if you own a shared plan it is disbanded, and if you are a member you are removed from it. Nothing belonging to the other members is affected;
- if you signed in with Apple, Tutik’s Sign in with Apple tokens are revoked as part of the deletion, so Tutik disappears from Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple.
Recordings you made yourself — a parent's voice narration or a recorded song — are stored in two places, and both go. While you are signed in, a recording is uploaded to your account's own private area of our file storage so that it survives a lost or replaced phone; deleting your account deletes that copy. The copy on the device goes when you clear the app's data or uninstall it. (An earlier version of this page said these recordings were never uploaded. That was wrong, and this is the correction.)
5. What is kept, and for how long
- Pseudonymous analytics and crash diagnostics. Tutik never attaches your account identifier to analytics or to a crash report, so these records cannot be traced back to you once the account is gone. They expire automatically on our provider's retention schedule. Usage analytics and performance monitoring can be turned off at any time in Settings → Privacy & Data; crash reports are not covered by that switch, because we rely on them to keep the app stable.
- Subscription and payment records. Tutik never receives or stores card details. If you subscribed to Tutik Experience, the purchase is held by the store you bought it in — Google Play under your Google account on Android, or the Apple App Store under your Apple Account on iPhone and iPad — and is governed by that store's terms, not ours; deleting your Tutik account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions, or on iOS in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Records we are required to keep. Where law obliges us, or for a limited period for security and fraud prevention, some data may be retained after deletion and is then removed.
6. Deleting only some of your data
You do not have to delete the account to remove data. In the app you can delete an individual child (which removes that child's profile, settings, sleep entries and schedule), delete single sleep log entries, and delete your own or AI-generated stories along with their illustrations.
